  • About

A home-made panettone doesn’t stay fresh as long as a bought one, but it’s your own and easy to prepare. If you want to prepare it days or even weeks in advance, freeze it and your panettone will be fresh and moist when you serve it.

The traditional flavouring for panettone is called millefiori (thousand flowers) or fiori di Sicilia. (Sicilian flowers) and can sometimes be found in Italian groceries. It usually comes packaged in little glass vials
