Method

Preheat oven to 400°F. Sift together self-rising flour, salt, and pepper into a large bowl. Using a fork or pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. With a fork, stir in buttermilk until dough comes together.
Turn out dough
