  • About

The old-fashioned is a classic whiskey cocktail dating back to the 1880s. But there’s nothing ordinary about this new-fashioned drink, made by infusing bourbon with smoky bacon flavor and replacing the classic sugar cube with pure maple syrup.

Ingredients

Method

Fill two lowball glasses with ice. Divide bacon-infused bourbon evenly between the glasses, and then stir in 2 to 3 dashes bitters and ½ to 1 teaspoon maple syrup to each glass. Garnish with orange peel and bacon slices, if desired.
