Last year I fished on the River Bourne near Stockbridge with chalk stream fishing guide William Daniel. While creeping around the banks, William pointed out wild watercress growing on the banks. Ironically, we were just down stream from the Vitacress factory, but this stuff on the banks was proper small-leaved wild cress and had a delicious peppery aftertaste.
