Omelette Arnold Bennett

This omelette has its own history. Arnold Bennett, the famous novelist and theatre critic, was a frequent visitor to the Savoy Hotel Grill. In his great hotel novel Imperial Palace, published in 1930, Bennett based his fictional chef, Roho, on Jean-Baptiste Virlogeux, then chef de cuisine at the Savoy Grill.
