Brown sugar is the star in these rich, chocolaty, cakelike brownies. This very simple, one-saucepan recipe yields delicious results!
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8" square pan.
Melt the butter and chocolate in a large saucepan over low heat until mixture is melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Cool slightly.
In a medium bowl with an electric mixer, beat sugar and vanilla on low speed just until combined. Beat in cooled butter/chocolate
