Ingredients: 1 tbsp. or more heavy (whipping) cream; 1 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened to room temperature; 2 oz. white chocolate, coarsely chopped; ¼ tsp. salt; 1 cup unbleached, all-purpose flour; 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract; 4 large eggs, lightly beaten; 2 cups granulated sugar; ½ cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature; 2 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped; 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped

These brownies are rich and fudgy, and the white chocolate glaze makes a zebralike contrast! Always a favorite at my house, they’re easy to make and yield spectacular results.

Ingredients

Brownie Base

2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13x9" baking pan.

For the Brownie Base

Combine the chocolates in a double boiler set over simmering water. Stir often, over low heat, until mixture is melted and smooth.
