If your momma made these, you’d be a very popular kid! These are moist, flavorful brownies with a smooth frosting.

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup water

Method

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 15x10x1" baking pan.

For the Brownie Base

Place the butter in a large mixing bowl. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Pour water over butter, stirring until butter is melted.

With an electric mixer at low speed, add flour, sugar, and cocoa powder and beat until blended. Beat at medium-high
