This cakelike confection with a crunchy, toasted-almond topping takes brownie munching to a whole new level.

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • cup granulated sugar

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9" square pan.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar and cocoa powder to blend.
