Dedicated to my lifelong friend, Ginny, who helped me create a Chubby Cheesecake character, these are destined to become one of her favorites (and yours, too!).

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 9" square pan, being sure to tap out excess flour.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler set over simmering water. Stir often, over low heat, until melted and smooth.
