The name says it all . . . a delicious Brownie Base with a creamy, fudgy chocolate topping. And for the kid in all of us, you get to poke holes in the Brownie Base and pour on the Fudge Poke—watching as the chocolate oozes in and anticipating that moment when it’ll be cool enough not to burn the roof of your mouth and you can indulge!

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 13x9" baking pan.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Whisk in sugar, stirring until smooth. Add flour, eggs, and vanilla, whisking to combine. Spread into prepared pan.
