Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8" square pan.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the butter and chocolate in a large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.

Remove saucepan from heat. Using an electric mixer, beat in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, beating well.
