Three times is the charm in this fudge brownie that covers all the chocolate bases.

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • oz. semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 9" square pan, tapping out any excess flour.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler set over simmering water. Stir often, over low heat, until chocolate is melted and smooth.

Remove top of double boiler from heat, and carefully wipe bottom (so none of the moisture steam
