Name: Fudgy Brownie Cookies
Yield: Makes about 3 dozen.
Ingredients: 3 oz. semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped; ⅛ tsp. salt; 4 oz. milk chocolate, coarsely chopped; ½ cup unbleached, all-purpose flour; ¼ tsp. baking powder; ¾ cup granulated sugar; 2 large eggs, lightly beaten; 3 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped; ⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature; ½ cup finely chopped pecans, toasted

Ingredients

Brownie Base

3 oz. semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
3 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

Cookies
Vegetarian

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 3 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

For the Brownie Base

Combine the semisweet and bittersweet chocolates in a double boiler set over simmering water. Stir often, over low heat, until mixture is melted and smooth.

Remove top of double boiler from heat, and carefully wipe bottom (so none of the moisture steams
