Brownie pie is so much fun to order out that I created my own version for “ordering in”!

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • ½

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9" pie pan.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove saucepan from heat; cool slightly.

Whisk in sugar and vanilla. Blend in egg.

Whisk in flour, baking powder, and salt until blended. Spread into prepared pan.
