Homemade ice cream goes well with any of my brownies. This is a rewarding project when you’re feeling ambitious and creative. And if you never feel ambitious and creative, convince someone else to make it for you!
In a medium saucepan, bring the cream, milk, and cinnamon to a boil. Turn off heat, cover saucepan, and let mixture steep for 30 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks, if using.
In a large bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until combined. Slowly whisk in 1 cup of the warm cream mixture. Return all to saucepan. Simmer, stirring, until
