Ingredients: ⅔ cup unbleached, all-purpose flour; ½ cup chopped nuts, if desired (hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, or almonds); 1½ cups Smooth and Silky Fudge Sauce; 6 tbsp. superfine sugar; 3 large egg whites, room temperature; 2 cups vanilla ice cream; ¼ tsp. cream of tartar; ¼ tsp. salt; ½ cup unsalted butter; 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped; 1 cup granulated sugar; 2 cups mint chocolate chip ice cream; 2 cups strawberry ice cream; 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract; 2 large eggs, lightly beaten; ½ tsp. baking powder

This luscious combination of brownie, ice creams, meringue, and fudge sauce makes a simply spectacular dessert that really is not that difficult to execute.

½ cup unsalted butter
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour bottom only of an 8" square pan.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool slightly.
