Intense and chocolaty . . . wow! I love to make these for a dinner party (and honestly, I’m always hopeful for leftovers).

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • 6 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3

Method

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 15x10x1" baking pan with foil.

For the Brownie Base

Melt the chocolate and butter in a large saucepan over low heat, stirring to blend.

Remove saucepan from heat. Whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla to blend.

Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and nuts to combine. Spread into prepared pan.
