This is an okra dish that handily converts haters of this often maligned vegetable. Dredged in a slightly spicy cornmeal mixture and quickly fried, these little nuggets are deliciously crisp and never have that bit of sliminess that turns some folks off. Refrigerating the okra slices before frying is an extra bit of anti-slime insurance.
