We prefer to make our own preserves as shop-bought Jam is never as good as when you make it yourself. We generally try to use the fruit that’s in season. Our veg man gives us a call to let us know what’s available and then we talk about the flavours that might work together, trying to be a bit interesting and original. We also selfishly imagine the flavours that we’d want to eat at home!
