  • 75 g dried apricots, thinly sliced
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped

Method

  • Place all the ingredients in a pan, add 200ml of water and bring to the boil.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover and cook gently for 20-30 minutes.
  • Uncover and continue to cook for a further 30 minutes until the onions are tender and no liquid remains. Allow to cool; store in an airtight jar ready for use.
