  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add the onion, garlic and cumin, and cook for 6-8 minutes until soft.
  2. Add the cracked wheat and parsley and cook for 5 minutes longer.
  3. Transfer to a food processor, add the remaining ingredients and whiz to a coarse paste.
  4. Using wet hands, shape the mix into 4 evenly sized burgers, chill for 1 hour.
