This is a firm favourite in The Parlour so we had to have it on the menu at Cambo. I don’t think a day can go badly when you start with this, and kids love it. Top with whatever berries are in season, or banana and toffee or chocolate sauce, or savoury breakfast stuff such as sausage and bacon. You can use brioche instead of bread if you like but in that case leave out the vanilla extract.
