These delicious chewy flatbreads are well worth taking the time to make. They’ll go beautifully with any dip and a glass of wine.

Ingredients

  • 250 g wholemeal flour
  • 250 g plain white flour
  • ½ tsp

Method

Mix both flours in a large bowl and make a well in the middle. In a measuring jug, dissolve the yeast in 250ml warm water and leave for 5 minutes or so until it goes frothy. Gradually pour the frothy mix into the flour while mixing with the other hand. Pour in 60ml of the olive oil as well, and keep mixing until the ball of dough comes together.
