  • About

One of the secrets of good pizza is a super-hot oven, so whack it up as high as it’ll go. This is a great basic recipe that is so easy to throw together, but feel free to adapt it – we all know that there’s plenty of scope for creativity with pizza!

Ingredients

  • 1 x 7 g packet fast-action yeast
  • 230 ml warm water

Method

Combine the yeast and 50ml of the warm water in a small cup and set aside for 5 minutes until it starts to foam.

Place the flour in a stand mixer or a large bowl. Add the remaining water and mix until the dough comes together. Then add the yeast mixture along with the salt and the oil and mix for at least 10 minutes until a smooth, stretchy dough has formed. Leave to prove somewhere war
