  • tbsp. kosher salt dissolved in 3 cups water

Method

Add 1 tablespoon of premixed pickling spices to the bottom of the jar before packing it with carrots and adding brine. It will create a pickled carrot perfect for fall. The flavors of allspice, clove, coriander, cinnamon, and ginger all shine, making this pickle a pleasant surprise on a holiday relish tray.
