Every time I went to my favorite indonesian restaurant in New York, I had either nasi goreng or rendang pedang. Both of those dishes were so good I was loath to order anything else. Unfortunately I’m left with a very limited knowledge of Indonesian food and, periodically, extremely powerful cravings for that fried rice and braised beef.
