Chopped dhania leaves make an excellent garnish for this salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, very thinly sliced
  • 5 ml salt
  • 250 ml

Method

Sprinkle onion with salt, and rub it in well. Pour warm water over and leave to drain in a colander. Squeeze out excess moisture. Combine onion with remaining ingredients. Serve as an accompaniment to curries or bredies.
