  • 500 ml self-raising flour
  • pinch salt
  • 15 ml sug


Sift flour and salt into a mixing bowl and stir in sugar. Make a well in centre and add eggs, butter, banana essence and milk. Mix to a thick pancake batter. Peel and coarsely chop bananas and add to mixture. Stir to combine well. Heat oil in a large frying pan and drop batter, 15 ml at a time, int
