An easy-to-make loaf that doesn’t use yeast.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml cake flour
  • 750 ml self-raising flour
  • pinch

Method

Grease and line a large loaf tin. Sift flours, salt and baking powder into a large mixing bowl. Stir in aniseed and raisins. In a separate mixing bowl beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, then add oil and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk to egg mixture, mixing after each addition to combine well. Pour mixture into lined loaf tin and bake
