An easy-to-make loaf that doesn’t use yeast.
Grease and line a large loaf tin. Sift flours, salt and baking powder into a large mixing bowl. Stir in aniseed and raisins. In a separate mixing bowl beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, then add oil and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk to egg mixture, mixing after each addition to combine well.
