This is a great citrus-spiced tea that goes really well with Jam Buns.


  • cups (600 ml) water
  • 4 pieces orange peel, fresh or dry, any size


Combine the water, orange peel, cinnamon, and star anise in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, lower the heat to medium-low, and simmer gently for 15 minutes. Remove from the heat, cover, and let the tea steep for 5 minutes. Add the nondairy creamer and sweeten if desired.
