My friend and fellow foodie Andrea Sperling uses the cast-iron skillet her father inherited from his mother. Andrea says matzo brei (fried matzo) can be prepared many ways but, like most traditional foods, aficionados are generally partial to how their grandmother or mother made it, even if it was soggy and tasteless.
