Chicken Kyiv, or Kiev as it was formerly known, is a classic of the 1970’s school of cooking. It’s popularity is driven by the sheer exuberance of flavour that oozes out of the golden parcel of breaded, fried chicken breast.

Not surprisingly the Kyiv has been ruined and abused over the years but with care and attention the modern version is harking back to its glorious past and giving a new generation of diners a taste of the old.
