About

Dukkah is a Middle Eastern spice mix consisting of roasted hazelnuts and various seeds. It keeps for up to a month in an airtight container, so you could increase the quantities given here and use it for other purposes, too - sprinkled over chicken before roasting or over fish after grilling (broiling), for example. Sumac is a lemon-flavoured spice that is available from Middle Eastern stores.
