  • Vegetable oil, for deep-frying
  • 8-12 uncooked wontons
  • Store-bought sweet and sour sauce, to serve

Method

Heat the vegetable oil to 180°C (350°F) using a food thermometer to check the temperature, and deep-fry the wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes, until crisp and golden. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
