No matter how full I am at yum cha, I always have space for a mango pudding. My sister and I – stuffed full of prawn har gao and fried beancurd skin rolls – only need to nod and say, ‘share?’ when the dessert trolley rolls around, before together happily tucking into a soft, perfect little pudding doused in evaporated milk. It tastes like happiness and nostalgia to me.
