  • 15 oz. pork (bacon with skin on)
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2

Method

  1. Cut pork into slices 1-½” wide by 2” long. Marinate in soy sauce for 10 minutes, then deep-fry about 10 seconds over high heat. Remove.
  2. Stir-fry ginger and green onions in 2 tablespoons of oil. Splash with the soy sauce used to marinate the pork, wine, sugar and star anise. Place pork into pan, pour in 3 cups boiling water, and cook for 20 minutes over low heat
