For the poached kumquats

  • 500 g (1 lb) kumquats

Method

Oven temperature Gas Mark 2/150°C/300°F

Preheat the oven. For the poached kumquats: wash the kumquats, remove the stalks and halve them lengthways. Place them in a pan with the sugar and water. Bring to the boil and simmer very gently for 30 minutes. Serve the warm poach
