This is the perfect cake to serve with tea although I imagine that it is more often enjoyed with coffee in Austria, where it originates. It has a beautiful texture, light yet buttery with just a hint of chocolate, lemon, nuts and sultanas. This is another of Mrs Schwarz’s recipes.
