In Northern Italy these crunchy very dry biscuits are served accompanied by a glass of Vin Santo. The biscuits are dunked in the sweet wine which softens and flavours them beautifully. If you can’t find a Vin Santo try serving them with a Sauternes for an unusual dessert.
