Gently melt the butter, brown sugar, chocolate and cream together in a pan until sugar is completely dissolved. Bring to the boil. Keep boiling for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat and carefully stir in icing sugar. Using a wooden spoon, beat for about 2 minutes until smooth and spreadable. Use straightaway, spreading on to cake with a wet palette knife.
