Beer Soup With Milk

Method

This soup is made in the same manner as the preceding one, but with 1 bottle of sweet German beer, and without salt and sugar. When hot, 1 pint of hot milk, in which the yolks of 2 eggs have been stirred, with salt and sugar to taste, is added to it, and it is ready to serve, with croƻtons of fried bread.
