A mousse au chocolat was one of my daughter Camille’s favourite desserts when she was growing up and it is still something I associate with cooking for my family. Chocolate means it’s essentially a guaranteed winner with children, yet if you serve it with a bitter espresso or a post-lunch digestif, a dark (bittersweet) chocolate mousse, such as this one, is also suitable for a grown-up palate.
