Swedish Vanilla Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • ¼ cup

Method

Scald cup of the cream in a small, heavy saucepan. In a small bowl, beat the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla until well combined. Gradually add the hot cream to the egg yolk mixture, mixing constantly. Return the mixture to the saucepan and reduce the heat to very low. Cook, stirring constantly, just un
