Spanish cream is a delicious white custard that separates as it cools into a fluffy layer on top and a smooth, glassy one underneath. The cream is good on its own, or you can set off its whiteness with colorful fruit.

Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes (about 5¼ teaspoons) unflavored gelatin
  • 2½ cups milk

Method
