  • ½ cup Boston brown bread grated fine
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ ounce

Method

Put together gelatin and sugar in double boiler. Stir till g. is dissolved, turn into brown bread crumbs and milk, let stand to cool, whip cream add to it slowly the mixture of brown bread stirring constantly, add orange juice and vanilla and stir till bears impression of spoon; turn into cold mould to cool for a time.
