Serve this as is, or with a few berries on the side. It combines beautifully with Alsatian Spiced Honey Ice Cream.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup cold water
  • cup sugar

Method

  1. Combine the water and sugar in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Boil gently, without stirring, for 5 minutes. Stir in the fruit brandy; remove from the heat and set aside.
