This is a basic method for making wine-flavored ices. Use a fork to scrape off long, thin crystals and gently pile them into wine glasses just before serving. Though you can use any white wine, slightly fruity ones work best. The recipe is followed by a more “pop” version with the refreshing red-wine and citrus flavors of Spanish sangría.
