  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup cold water
  • Zest of 1

Method

Follow the instructions for the Coarse-Crystal Wine Ice, adding the orange zest and cinnamon sticks to the syrup with the lemon zest in step 1. Discard the zests and cinnamon sticks before adding the orange juice and wine. Serve the granita garnished with the orange slices.
