My good friend Reed is an Alabama native who, lucky for me, ended up in the town of Hudson, New York, for a spell. An avid fisherman and forager, he’s known for taking solo voyages around Columbia County searching for fiddlehead ferns, brook trout, and whatever else happens to be in season.
